Please avoid:
Hate speech or discriminatory comments.
Excessive hostility or personal arguments.
Content intended to upset, intimidate, or target another member.
Trolling designed solely to cause disruption.
We're here to have conversations, not create unnecessary drama.
💬 3. Stay On Topic
Please post your topics in the forum that best matches what you're discussing.
If you're unsure where something belongs, don't worry — staff can move topics when necessary.
Some conversations naturally wander a little, and that's okay. We simply ask that discussions remain reasonably relevant to the forum they're posted in.
📢 4. No Spam
Please don't fill ChatterSpace with repetitive or unwanted content.
This includes:
Repeatedly posting the same topic or message.
Posting meaningless content purely to increase your post count.
Excessive advertising outside the appropriate areas.
Automated or mass-posted content.
Deliberately disrupting discussions.
Quality conversation is more important than post counts.
🛰️ 5. Promotion Orbit
Want to share your website, forum, blog, community, social media project, or other online creation?
Head over to Promotion Orbit:
There are no posting requirements to advertise your project.
You may bump your promotion once every 24 hours.
Please don't repeatedly bump your topic before the 24-hour period has passed, and don't create multiple promotion topics for the same project unless staff have given you permission.
🔐 6. Protect Your Privacy
Think carefully before sharing personal information online.
Don't post another person's private information without their permission.
This includes things such as:
Home addresses
Phone numbers
Private email addresses
Passwords
Financial information
Private conversations or personal documents
If something is private, keep it private.
🖼️ 7. Respect Copyright
Only share content that you have permission to post or that you are legally allowed to share.
Don't upload or distribute copyrighted material that you do not have permission to use.
When sharing someone else's work, give appropriate credit where possible.
🔗 8. Links & External Content
Links are welcome when they contribute to a discussion.
However, don't use links to:
Spread malware or malicious software.
Phish for personal information.
Scam or defraud members.
Circumvent security or access restrictions.
Promote illegal activity.
Staff may remove links that pose a risk to the community.
🛡️ 9. Follow Staff Instructions
Our staff team is here to help keep ChatterSpace running smoothly.
If a staff member asks you to stop a particular behaviour, move a discussion, edit content, or otherwise follow a moderation request, please cooperate.
If you disagree with a moderation decision, contact staff privately rather than turning the situation into a public argument.
⚠️ 10. Report Problems
If you see something that breaks these rules, please report it to the staff team rather than responding with more drama.
When reporting something, provide as much useful information as possible so staff can look into it.
Please don't publicly accuse another member of breaking the rules.

Staff may edit, move, close, or remove content when necessary to keep ChatterSpace safe, organised, and enjoyable.
Depending on the situation, staff may:
Issue a reminder or warning.
Remove inappropriate content.
Close or move a topic.
Temporarily restrict an account.
Suspend or ban an account.
Serious or repeated violations may result in stronger action.
Not every situation can be covered by a written rule, so staff may use reasonable judgement when dealing with behaviour that negatively affects the community.

Not everything needs a rule.
Before posting, ask yourself:
"Would this help make ChatterSpace a better place for everyone?"
If the answer is yes, you're probably on the right track.
